About the Gallery Shop

We are a group of about 50 artists and craftspersons all living and working in Central Pennsylvania.

We have been in business for 29 years. The first 10 we were a part of the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. We are now independent, but we have a close working relationship with the Art Alliance.

Our mission is to serve two communities:

The General Community:
To sell original art and craft work from Central Pennsylvania to our customers. And, to educate our customers about the techniques used in the many different works.
The Artist Community:
To provide an outlet for practicing studio artists who live and work in Central Pennsylvania.

The Gallery Shop is located at 824 Pike Street in Lemont, PA - just minutes from State College.

Follow these directions from State College:

Follow Route 26 East (East College Avenue) approximately 3 miles.
Take the Elmwood Street Exit to Lemont (just before the intersection with Route 322 Bypass).
Turn left at the Stop light onto Pike Street.
The Gallery Shop is 1/2 block on the left.

Parking is available in front of the shop.

Featuring in July, 2025: 26 In Praise of Cold-blooded Critters

Some of the most stunning colors and patterns in nature are not only on flowers but on the insects that feed on them and the critters that hop or slither under them. We appreciate the beauty of butterfly wings and iridescent dragonfly wings, but Sometimes miss the fact that frogs and toads also wear lovely designs and snake skins have amazingly intricate pattern. Fish are also some of the most beautifully decorated creatures with their scale patterns and vibrant colors.This show will feature art that will celebrate and hopefully help you appreciate these and other cold-blooded critters.
