About the Gallery Shop

We are a group of about 50 artists and craftspersons all living and working in Central Pennsylvania.

We have been in business for 29 years. The first 10 we were a part of the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. We are now independent, but we have a close working relationship with the Art Alliance.

Our mission is to serve two communities:

The General Community:
To sell original art and craft work from Central Pennsylvania to our customers. And, to educate our customers about the techniques used in the many different works.
The Artist Community:
To provide an outlet for practicing studio artists who live and work in Central Pennsylvania.

The Gallery Shop is located at 824 Pike Street in Lemont, PA - just minutes from State College.

Follow these directions from State College:

Follow Route 26 East (East College Avenue) approximately 3 miles.
Take the Elmwood Street Exit to Lemont (just before the intersection with Route 322 Bypass).
Turn left at the Stop light onto Pike Street.
The Gallery Shop is 1/2 block on the left.

Parking is available in front of the shop.

Jeanne McKinney: Painting

Mark Messenger: Pottery

Jean McKinney Jean McKinney, a Plein Air and studio artist, will show landscape paintings in the June Atrium show. Her work in soft pastel focuses on images from locations in Central Pennsylvania, Monhegan Island, Maine and Nova Scotia, Canada. Mark Messenger Mark has been a working artist producing pottery for over 40 years. As an artist, Mark has studied art history as well as the history of ceramics. In addition to his functional stoneware and porcelain pottery, Mark also creates work in sculpture, photography and painting. His functional pottery can be used as everyday ware; is microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
