About the Gallery Shop

We are a group of about 50 artists and craftspersons all living and working in Central Pennsylvania.

We have been in business for 29 years. The first 10 we were a part of the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania. We are now independent, but we have a close working relationship with the Art Alliance.

Our mission is to serve two communities:

The General Community:
To sell original art and craft work from Central Pennsylvania to our customers. And, to educate our customers about the techniques used in the many different works.
The Artist Community:
To provide an outlet for practicing studio artists who live and work in Central Pennsylvania.

The Gallery Shop is located at 824 Pike Street in Lemont, PA - just minutes from State College.

Follow these directions from State College:

Follow Route 26 East (East College Avenue) approximately 3 miles.
Take the Elmwood Street Exit to Lemont (just before the intersection with Route 322 Bypass).
Turn left at the Stop light onto Pike Street.
The Gallery Shop is 1/2 block on the left.

Parking is available in front of the shop.

Monthly Feature at the Gallery Shop

Each month the Gallery Shop presents a special show in the Atrium.

Featuring in April, 2025: Upcycled Art in the Atrium

Creating art out of objects that are otherwise bound for the dumpster is a great way to help the environment and also express yourself. The concept is not new; Pablo Picasso created “Bull Head” in 1942, from scrap metal using an old bicycle seat and handlebars. In April, Gallery Shop artists will try their hand at upcycling or creating recycled art out of, well, trash!
